Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is a style of Yoga that involves repetition of poses, breath work and mantra that are practiced together as part of a set, also known as a kriya. The kriyas are designed to release Kundalini energy which otherwise lies latent at the base of the spine. As this energy is released, it has a number of effects on our mind, body and spiritual experiences. These may include clearing internal blockages, connecting to deeper layers of Self, and expanding states of consciousness.
In this 4-week series, we will explore the foundational practices in Kundalini Yoga and learn/practice various kriyas. Participants can expect a combination of movement, breathwork, meditation and mantra each week. These classes are dynamic but suitable for all levels. This class is ONLY in October for 4 weeks.
